Well today is the big day. Feels surreal, I guess it will hit me later.

God blessed me with an amazing gift this past Monday. I guess I should elaborate, but for now I'll leave it at that. I'll let you all know once we figure out which day in October or November we'll have the wedding.

I didn't know what to expect before I saw this film... now I think all should see this, especially if you go to church. Makes a strong point that we all need to listen.

This Friday leaving work on a cold tire, my older brother went down. Fortunately he was not hurt much, just starting of the stop sign (slight road rash in two spots, some bruises, and slightly bruised ego). A good reminder that I can't take anything for granted. God gives me every second of my life as a gift and most importantly he gave his son, Jesus Christ, so that my sins would not keep me from spending eternity without Him!!

God is good.

I know I post a lot of links on the blog, but I do hope you check this one out - a very good page exposing the problems with dating and showing the proper and biblical way of courtship: http://polynate.net/books/courtship/

If you don't read the articles, at least check out the "25 reasons not to date". One very good point that really stands out is that dating teaches people to break off difficult relationships, conditioning them more for divorce than marriage... No wonder there are so many divorces these days.
